Make a plan

Do yourself a favor, and make a plan of attack. Decide which areas of your home need the most attention, and create a checklist of tasks to complete. This will help you stay organized and focused, and ensure that you don't overlook anything important.

Declutter first

This has to be the first step on the list we discussed a minute ago. 

Before you start cleaning, declutter your home. Go through each room and get rid of anything you no longer need or want. You can take this as an opportunity to donate or sell items that are still in good condition and anything that is broken or unusable - THROW AWAY IMMEDIATELY.

Use natural cleaners and satisfy your eco-friendly side 

You don't need harsh chemicals to get the job done. Instead, go for natural cleaners like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice, also because they can actually be more efficient than regular cleaning chemicals, but also super safe for your family and pets.

Go from the TOP to BOTTOM and start with the room that needs the most attention, then work your way through the rest of the house. This will help you prevent burnout.

Get the whole family involved

Spring cleaning is not a one-person job, and also it can turn into a fun family activity. Get the whole family involved - assign tasks to each family member and make it a competition to see who can finish first, or come up with some cool awards for the best ones.
